When I originally started building custom cook trailers over 20 years ago I can remember delivering smoker trailers all over the country, and no matter where I went. I seem to have gotten the same response. It would be a dream to own one of those custom smoker trailers but I can't afford it. So we decided to make one lucky persons dreams come true.

Hi! I'm Clint Shockey, the President of East Texas Smoker Company and a Partner in Custom BBQ Supply Company, designer, and fabricator for East Texas Smoker Company operated in the beautiful piney woods. I learned my design and welding crafts while attending Texas State Technical College over 20 years ago. I have since graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a BBA in Finance.

To my family's dismay, I did not go into banking or accounting but rather started following my dreams to build exceptional barbecue smoker pits for people to enjoy. I take great pride in creating custom smokers for my customers. I have been designing and fabricating high-quality smokers for over 15 years. In that time, I had the good fortune to Compete in some of the world's most prestigious BBQ competitions in the United States, including the Jack Daniels World Championship, Memphis in May, and took Reserve Grand Championship at the Sams Invitational BBQ World Championships in Bentonville Arkansas.

I know the difference between grilling and barbecuing. In fact, I do extensive research EVERY weekend with my smokers; and my friends and family certainly enjoy the benefits of that research! Barbecue is my life and I love sharing it with others!

Hello, I am Robert Hood, I’m the graphic designer here at Custom BBQ Co. and one of the owners with a passion for creating designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I attended Tyler Junior College here in Tyler, Texas and my Art Classes were some of my favorite courses, I enjoy creating designs for our customers.

I am Ryne Friday, I am responsible for IT Support/Web design for Custom BBQ Supply Co. After High School I attended Texas State Technical College, I studied Computer systems administration and Network Security. I have worked in the Technology industry over 20 years. I started my career doing hardware and software support for customers in the area. Later I got a position at a school providing technical support, website maintenance and maintaining the in-school computer lab. I am currently the IT director for an electrical enginerring company. In technology there is always something new to learn and discover.
